Cooking temperature can be controlled by adjusting the length of the tripod chain over an open fire.
How to set-up the Cooking Tripod
Find 3 branches of similar length that have a small enough diameter to just fit through the holes of the stainless-steel tripod disc. Push them through the openings and fasten them by twisting slightly. Simply control the cooking temperature by adjusting the length of the chain over the fire.
The Tripod Lashing disc can also be used to set-up a make-shift tipi type shelter.
