The high-performance Cool Ice CI 42 cooler is made using thick refrigeration grade foam insulation and has a unique labyrinth seal design to keep food and drinks cold for days – perfect for storing food in a drive-away awning without the need of 240v hook-up.

Recommended Instructions to Maximise Performance

1. If possible, store the Dometic icebox in cool surroundings for several hours before use and keep it out of direct sunlight.
2. If possible, cool drinks and groceries before loading and pack the ice box as full as possible.
3. Freezer packs, ice blocks or ice cubes as suitable as coolants – the larger, the better.
4. Air will compromise the cooling capacity and shorten the duration of cooling so avoid opening the ice box unnecessarily.
