Lightweight and versatile as well as UV resistant and shower-proof this VW Camper Awning is 3 metres long by 2.4 metres depth making it one of the largest on the market.
Each awning has five eyelets, comes with three height adjustable poles, five guylines and pegs.
Use all 3 poles in a straight type configuration (photos 1 & 2) or our personal favourite, just remove the 2 corner poles and adjust the middle pole to a fair height and peg down the remaining 4 guylines making a sort of ridge tent configuration (photos 3 & 4) - ideal for breezier/rainy conditions.
In fact with a bit of imagination and combinations of using either 1, 2 or 3 poles at varying heights the possibilities are endless, making this camper awning one of the most versatile out there.
Please note: to avoid rain damage - awnings they must be left in the single pole tent configuration overnight and if you’re away from your camper for any length of time.

Attaching Your VW Camper Awning
There are two methods for attaching the awning - Pole and Clamp (which comes as standard) or Figure of 8 awning strip (which you can add to your order).
Pole and Clamp method is ideal for 90% of Split Screens, Bay Windows and Type 25’s – just slide the gutter pole through the canopy sleeve, place in gutter and secure using the 3 clamps (which have rubber padding to avoid scratching your pride and joy).
In some rarer cases in which the roof fills or obstructs the gutter rail (as some high tops do) we recommend the use of three Figure of 8 awning strip which slide onto piped edging already attached to the canopy and then clip onto the gutter rail. This latter method works fine with Bay's and T25’s but can be problematic with Splitty’s as the gutter edge is smaller.
If you’re in any doubt as to whether your bus will take the pole and clamp - please measure before ordering or use something of same diameter and physically try it – the gutter pole diameter is 16mm but with plastic bungs on each end allow 19mm x 3.2m length.
** Please be aware that there is a very faint bleed of the sunflower pattern onto some of the blue background areas – this ghosting effect is only slightly visible from below the awning and as you can see from the photos it's almost undetectable on the outside surface **
