Snugpak Softie Chrysalis Tera Sleeping Bag

The Softie Chrysalis Tera is a 2 season sleeping bag from Snugpak that offers the flexibility to tackle any trip. Snugpak’s elasticated expander system incorporated throughout Softie Chrysalis range allows the user to control temperature and comfort by being able to transform from a warm, snug sleeping bag into a cool and spacious sleeping bag.
 
The Softie Chrysalis Tera boasts all the features of a traditional sleeping bag but the jumbo zip baffle can be opened out to give much more room within the bag. The extra space within the sleeping bag allows more air to move around keeping the bag cooler. This temperature management gives this sleeping bag much more flexibility if the temperature drops you simply zip the bag tighter and instantly boost the performance of the Softie Chrysalis Tera.

Reflectatherm is a metallised fabric designed to reflect heat and retain warmth. A highly breathable material, which adds little to the weight or pack size of the product and provides at least 15% additional warmth whilst being undetectable by touch in the sleeping bag or garment.
Softie is the brand name for the synthetic (Polyester) filling Snugpak use for the softie range of sleeping bags. Though officially described as superfine high thermal the factory nickname quickly found its way onto the bags themselves.
Paratex Steelplate is a Ripstop sleeping bag casing fabric exceptionally tough but still just as breathable and wind proof as the Paratex light.
Paratex Light is a lightweight highly windproof water repellent fabrics, exceptionally breathable and able to wick moisture away from source, ideal for sleeping bag linings and mid layer insulated clothing.
